A Thatcher Associates client was embarking on a long term project and had previously struggled to recruit and retain technical and engineering staff. The client needed a number of people with “staggered” starts over a period of time. By running a targeted campaign over a period of time, we built a talent pool and shared this with our client. We were able to engage with the applicants without the pressure of time, in order to brief them and assess who would be best placed to take up positions when they were due to go live. In turn, the candidates had time to prepare for their new roles and plan around their anticipated starting dates.
