How we recruited specialist resource to a remote Caribbean location.

Our client in this case had multiple gaps in their organisation; in part due to their remote location and in part due to their track record in hiring people who weren’t best suited to working long distances from friends and family.

We took each requirement in turn and developed the brief from a basic job title, into a set of key accountabilities with a number of “essential” and “nice to have” skills.

Alongside matching the technical skill set for each role, we were very careful to select only candidates who had a track record in working in hardship locations.  What can seem at first glance like a paradise location in a holiday brochure can be quite the opposite given long hours, heat, unreliable supply chains and a never ending to-do list. We were successful in delivery and the client was pleased with the outcome.
