The Opportunity?

This would involve you acting as the main point of contact for this entire process. 

What will the role involve?
  • Upon joining, you would work closely with the Director during the embedding phase (of new team members). 
  • Real opportunities for organic growth within this company – they have already appointed a team of strong, experienced individuals.
  • Overseeing from pre-construction (Land and Planning) through to the build phase, then ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Care.
  • Liaising with the Land and Planning team, Employers Agents / Architects, Main Contractor and Customer Care Team.
  • Overseeing the procurement strategy, planning consent, ensuring the company are legally robust, and completing monthly Development Committee reports.
  • Routinely visiting site to oversee quality and critique construction programmes.
  • Liaise with internal clients, Aftercare Coordinators, and the HCA programme management team.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies.
  • Seeking realistic ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participating in learning and development activities that develop personal value.
  • Salary is very flexible – they are willing to remunerate appropriately depending upon the individuals’ experience.
Who are the company?
  • Highly successful, Housing Association who have developed a private sector arm.
  • Their ‘New Homes’ division will cover Worcester to Somerset, with the main office based in Bristol.
  • Turnover for last year was £350M.
  • Plans to produce x200 units this year, and increase this to x300 over the next few.
  • Following a business model that fits into the medium-size development market gap - typically, projects will range from 40-150 units each.
