What will I be doing?

As Head of the Technical Department, you will be responsible for overseeing progress and performance of the Technical Team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, and overseeing a Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting Estimators, the Pre Development Manager on appraisals and due diligence
  • Overseeing planning applications (typically these are outsourced to consultancies, however, you would be responsible for ensuring regulations were kept to)
  • Ensuring that each build is complying with regulations, within deadlines and to budget – as well as obtaining Section 104 & 38 agreements
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of all sites, from a technical bias (and directly managing 3 of your own sites)
  • Ensuring CMLs and building regulations are signed off on time
  • Ensuring that targets are met, deadlines are kept to and production is at a strong level
