Thatcher Associates are pleased to be working alongside a regeneration specialist in the South Wales / South West region. If you are interested in assisting the Land and Technical team in the acquisition, appraisal and viability studies of pockets of land then look no further. An excellent opportunity to learn, grow and develop within an established and well respected residential developer.
What will I be doing?
As a Land Manager, you will be responsible for:
Contributing to the acquisition of sites across the South Wales and South West region
Achieving land targets
Assisting with planning applications and drawings and reports
Identifying, evaluating and securing sufficient sites for development
Researching planning information (history, planning data policy on LA websites)
Attending meetings (internal and external) to discuss progress, coordinate information and create efficient action plans
Tracking and monitoring policy and applications
Writing reports to support bids and acquisitions
Coordinating information between departments
What will I need?
Degree level education preferable (in Surveying / Construction / Real Estate Management / Town Planning / Geography + a Masters)
5+ years' experience within Land Buying
Experience within the residential market
Motivation, strong communication and numeracy skills
