Our client is an award-winning, established regional contractor with a new housing arm based in Wiltshire. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the Construction Director on an unusual historic refurbishment in Somerset. This is an evolving role, and a great opportunity for someone to be involved in an unusual historic project with the support of a growing and reputable contractor. 
  • Refurbishment, conversion, new build, leisure, sustainable and commercial projects;
  • High-end, high-quality construction projects across the South West;
  • Award-winning, established local regional contractor.
About you:

You will need to have 3+ years' industry experience as a Site Manager, working within the construction sector. It’s expected that you will have drive, determination and a can-do attitude.

Essential:
  • 3+ years’ experience;
  • Refurbishment project exposure (essential);
  • Historical restorations exposure (desirable);
  • CSCS Card, Health & Safety training and Construction qualification or similar experience;
  • Full UK driving license.
Personal attributes:
  • Able to command and lead site teams;
  • Enjoys working within a team on unusual building projects;
  • Confident with delivery but professional at all times.
