My client is a regional housing developer, who produce good quality developments across the South West region. They are wanting to grow the sales and marketing function, by appointing a Sales Manager to support the current Sales Director with the management of the sales team and current/future projects. The developer is seeking an ambitious and hard-working sales professional to join their development team based in Devon.

About you:


As the New Homes Sales Manager, you will play a vital part in the purchasers overall experience of buying a new home. You will need to have excellent customer services/sales experience whilst working for a housing developer, ideally with a national PLC or established regional developer. You will need to have the local market knowledge, understand the build process from start to legal completion and understand the importance of meeting/exceeding targets along with team management.

A key aspect of this role will be to manage the development, implementation, and review of the New Homes Team’s Sales and Marketing Strategy. You will need to be able to motivate the team to achieve the targets set and deliver a purchaser focused service with excellent customer satisfaction, this will require strong leadership skills.

Job details:
  • Customer Service & Care: Provide a full before and aftercare experience for purchasers.
  • Business development: Maintain a strong reputation of the company.
  • Sales: Produce reports of sales and marketing outcomes which are beneficial to the overall business. Manage sale transactions whilst liaising with solicitors and key people involved. Maintain regular contact with estate agents and purchasers.
  • Collaborative working: Work closely with the land and technical team aiding the purchase of multiple sites from private and public organizations and have a strong network of relationships with local land and new homes agents and understand local factors impacting on demand and sales values.
  • Marketing: Show Home set up and management, brochures, site set up to include hoarding and visual aids etc. Control and monitor stock of sale material for effective marketing.
  • Growing and managing the current Sales and Marketing team.
